Kim Hyun-beom's team at the Department of Embedded Systems Engineering (first author: Kim Min-soo (academic cooperation course) and the University of Paris-Saclay research team in France recently published a study on the "augmented flexible security surveillance system for intelligent transportation services."
Existing security surveillance studies based on fixed measures have limited detection efficiency in the event of rapid traffic changes or unexpected situations in transportation systems that require a lot of liquidity. In this study, an augmented fluid surveillance system using a single lens was designed, and the optimization of the proposed system was demonstrated by maximizing detection efficiency by considering various traffic volumes, detection directions, and lens allocation
Kim Hyun-beom, a professor of embedded system engineering at Incheon National University, said, "This study is an early model of flexible surveillance for intelligent transportation services and will announce the development of an advanced surveillance system that includes more expanded areas such as marine and mountainous areas in the future."

The results of this study will be published in the IEEE Internet of Things Journal (IF: 8.2, top 3.4% of 2023 JCR), an authoritative magazine in the field of computer science and information systems.
