The School of Law continues to pursue its primary objective of fostering professional legal practitioners. We have more than 20 graduates practicing law and doing their best in the field. The School of Law prepares all students for the bar exam, currently the only recognized path to becoming a lawyer. To fulfill the educational goal of training professional lawyers, not only 'theoretical law' but also 'practical law' will be taught. In the first written examination of the bar examination, fewer and fewer students are taking elective subjects that are neglected except for mandatory subjects. To overcome this, we analyze the subjects of civil service examinations and qualifying examinations and carefully select the subjects of the new courses.

The School of Law specializes in training professional lawyers and legal specialists by occupation. The goal of law school is not only to become a lawyer by passing the bar examination after entering law school but also to develop legal professionals in each field. We provide education to prepare for the Executive Administrative Service Examination, the Foreign Affairs Service Examination, the Regional Administrative Examination, the Court Administrative Service Examination, the Legislative Service Examination, and the Public Service Recruitment Examination for grades 7 and 9. In addition, we are establishing training courses to prepare for various qualification exams to become patent attorneys, certified labor lawyers, certified real estate brokers, certified public accountants, judicial lawyers, housing management agents, appraisers, police officers, tax accountants, court clerks, and marine police officers.

One of the specific educational goals of the School of Law is to train legal professionals for the Northeast Asia-centered era. Considering the geopolitical conditions, Incheon is a bridgehead to China and Northeast Asia, which is very important in the current situation where the center of global economy and trade is shifting to Asia and China. From this perspective, our mission is to "foster leaders who can lead the development of the community of Incheon Metropolitan City." We aim to cultivate leaders who will protect the rights and interests of the people and the local community, enhance the productivity of the country and the local community, and contribute to developing a democratic society. To this end, the School of Law is expanding its curriculum by establishing courses in China law and Northeast Asia relations law.
