College of Natural Sciences

The College of Natural Sciences was established to nurture basic science, research and develop new technologies, and foster human resources to contribute to the development of science and technology.

Introduction

The College of Natural Sciences was established to nurture basic science, research and develop new technologies, and foster human resources to contribute to the development of science and technology.

In 1980, the Departments of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Home Economics were established. In 1988, the Dept. of Fashion industry was established, and the college was promoted to the College of Natural Sciences. In 2012, the Department of Marine Science was established.

The College is comprised of the natural science departments ( Dept. of Math, Physics, Chemistry, Fashion Industry)

- Dept. of Mathematics, Dept. of Physics, Dept. of Chemistry, Dept. of Biology, and Dept. of Home Economics were newly established.

Educational goals and objectives

The College of Natural Sciences is dedicated to fostering explorative scientists.

The Natural Science division provides a variety of fundamental theoretical and practical courses covering both majors and liberal arts to foster human resources who contribute to the development of science and technology. The Life Science division focuses on cultivating human resources who contribute to improving the quality of the immediate environment in which humans live, ultimately improving the quality of life.
